EIGHT days til summer break and I feel like I'm managing the train schedule at Grand Central Station and all of my family members are lost tourists.
A small sample of things on my mind: Is my youngest a good enough swimmer for the pond this summer? Did I buy enough sunscreen? Is there wifi at swimming lessons so I can do email there? Is my car clean enough to be my zoom background? Did I ever replace that luggage that broke after our last trip? How many people are we feeding on Father's day and what do I need to get ahead of time?
The list goes on and on.... And do you know whose needs come last? MINE!
This has been a common theme among my clients the last few weeks. We're talking about these questions:
How do I get through this summer?
How can I plan pockets of time for me?
How can I stay on top of my goals with so many different things going on?
How do I want to feel about my summer by Labor Day?
While each client's situation is unique, one thing is clear:
MOST OF US DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH SUPPORT FOR OURSELVES THIS SUMMER.
And I'd like to invite you to change that.
